At the present time, a vacancy for a Driver's Education Instructor exists within the Communications division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit.

Qualifications:

• PA Teacher Certification required
• Must have PA Driver's License with no moving violations for previous three (3) years.
• Current FBI, PA State Police and Child Abuse Clearance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach students to effectively drive a motor vehicle in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Regulations and Pennsylvania's Department of Transportation, using both off-street instruction as well as on-street instruction, using a varied driving environment.  Responsible to schedule students for lessons and act as a liaison between students, parents, schools and driver's ed office.

Salary Range: $20.96 per hour/approximately 15 hours per week

After school, evenings and weekends.
