At the present time, multiple positions exist for speech/language therapists to deliver services with the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Opportunities are available servicing students from Birth to 21 years old across multiple educational environments.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders
2. Certificate of Clinical Competence; Clinical Fellowship year considered
3. PDE instructional certificate
4. Must have Act 33 and 34 Clearances
5. Must have Federal Criminal History record
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide speech/language therapy services, complete evaluations and maintain all paperwork for caseloads of students including itinerant, classroom based, telepractice, and Birth to 3 services.
Estimated work days and hours:
Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours per day
Salary:
Based on 2017-2018 Salary Schedule: $56,571 to $94,323 - Master's Degree; $59,077 - $98,082 - Master's + 15; $60,390 - $99,881 Master's + 30
