A vacancy for a part-time van driver position exists within the Young Parents Program in the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. The position will be located in Norristown.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have no ponts on driving record and be able to pass a physical including a drug test
• Must possess a valid PA drivers' license
• Current (within one year) police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)      

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drives a school van safely and professionally
• Performs and properly completes daily pre-trip inspections
• Complies with all traffic ordinances
• Complies with discipline policies set forth in the School Code of Condust for Transportation
• Participates in on-site training

Salary Range:

$14.10 to $14.84 per hour; Up to 6 hrs. per day; 5 days per week; 180 days a year
