At the present time, a vacancy for a .5 FTE Reading Specialist exists within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit.

Qualifications:

• Valid PDE Reading Specialist certification
• Experience or training in researched-based training approach such as Wilson Reading System or Ort-Gillgham, preferred.
• Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Applicants will be expected to develop and implement an individual instructional program for students and coordinate the student's program with the basic education staff.

Salary Range (Pro-rated based on FTE):

$50,841-$82,911 - Instr I Cert.; $53,110 - $86,278 - Instr II Cert., $56,571- $94,323 - Master's Degree- $59,077- $98,082 - Master's +15, $60,390-$99,881- Master's +30
