At the present time,  vacancancies for a P/T Instructional Assistant position exists for the summer program within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.

- Associates degree or higher or completion of two years of post-secondary education or 48 credit hours from an accredited college or university preferred.  CPR/First Aid.

- Experience with a drug/alcohol population preferred

- Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required.

- Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by the CCIU upon hire)

Duties & Responsibilities:
Applicants will be responsible for assisting in the implemenation of basic skills  program with middle and high  school students that have significant behavior issues.  Must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team in an educational setting.

Salary Range:

The IA scale is broken down below for you to reference where you would come in. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

• 0-5 yrs experience=$13.26- $13.64
• 6-10 yrs experience= $13.83 - $14.22
• 11-20 yrs experience= $14.42- $16.81
• 21-29 yrs experience= $17.13- $20.18
• * Bachelors degree is equivalent to 9 yrs experience on the scale= $14.01
• *Master's degree is equivalent to 15 yrs experience on the scale = $15.32
