At the present time,  vacancies for a P/T Instructional Assistant position exists for the Summer 2018 program within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Offer contingent upon graduation from high school.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or higher or completion of two years of post-secondary education or 48 credit hours from an accredited college or university preferred.  CPR/First Aid.
• Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required.
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by the CCIU upon hire)

Duties & Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of educational programming and peforming duties as directed by the educational consultant during the Extended School Year program.  Duties may include individual tuturoing.

Salary Range:

The IA scale is broken down below for you to reference where you would come in. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

• 0-5 yrs experience=$13.26- $13.64
• 6-10 yrs experience= $13.83 - $14.22
• 11-20 yrs experience= $14.42- $16.81
• 21-29 yrs experience= $17.13- $20.18
• * Bachelors degree is equivalent to 9 yrs experience on the scale= $14.01
• *Master's degree is equivalent to 15 yrs experience on the scale = $15.32
